Footsteps Counselling & Psychotherapy
Hello & Welcome
Sometimes life doesn’t go as planned. It can feel scary to change direction, but with the right support, you might discover you’re heading somewhere meaningful.
Counselling gives you a safe, supportive space to explore what’s going on, gain clarity, and reconnect with your inner strength. Together, we’ll explore the issues you’re facing and help you build confidence, find relief, and move forward with more control over your life.
People come to counselling for many reasons. You may be struggling with:
Anxiety, panic or overwhelm
Low self-esteem or overthinking
ADHD symptoms
Grief or loss (including miscarriage or stillbirth)
Pregnancy or fertility trauma
Childhood trauma or emotional neglect
Relationship problems or separation
Chronic illness, pain, or medical trauma
Whatever you're facing, you don't have to go through it alone.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported and safe. I have specialist training in supporting clients through infertility, pregnancy loss, and chronic health conditions.
Together, we’ll work at your pace, helping you discover new ways of thinking, healing, and making positive changes in your life.
Books & Emotional Wellbeing Resources
As a counsellor, I understand how stories and creative tools can help children explore feelings and develop confidence. This inspired me to write Mum & Me: The Perfect Team and create the Emotion & Kindness Cards.
These resources support children to: • Recognise and express emotions
• Build emotional resilience
• Understand disability with empathy
• Feel seen, especially young carers
